What is a Recommendation Report?
When an EPC is obtained, a recommendation report will also be provided. This contains suggestions for the improvement of the energy performance of the building, which are broken down into cost-effective alterations to improve energy performance and measures that require a greater amount of expenditure.
These recommendations are broken down into short, medium and long term payback periods, of up to three, three to seven and seven plus years respectively.
The carrying out of the recommendations made is not mandatory, but the value that may be added to the property by carrying them out should be considered.
